the dnaspitter-tool is a pretty simple python
script that defines a DNA schema. Two bits
are necessary to map an alphabet with four
elements.
00:G | 01: A | 10: T | 11: C
the atomic unit of computers is a byte
which consists of 8 bits and a byte is
mapped to 4 DNA units. The python script
substitutes 2 bits with one DNA unit and
allows reverse engineering, i.e. converting
a DNA sequence back to pure binary code.
in further steps we are going to improve the
software and research on different algorithms.
